PIANO, GUITAR, AND DRUM lessons for kids and adults
Learn a new instrument or dedicate yourself to an old favorite. Ian is an experienced music teacher with a passion for empowering artists with the skills, experience, and community to become lifelong musicians.
Essential memberships include 150 minutes of lesson time per month. Family memberships include 240 minutes of lesson time per month, to be shared by all members of the family. Non-members can purchase individual lessons as well.

Looking for a practice space, without the lessons? We’ve got you. Our basic membership includes access to our practice spaces, equipment, and events.
essential
Ready to try a new instrument, or pick up where you left off with an old one? You’ll have access to practice spaces, instruments, events, and five 30-minute lessons per month.
family
Get eight 30-minute individual lessons per month to be used by you or your family members, however you want. Plus, you’ll all have access to our practice spaces, instruments, and events.

Heathens Music Lab is owned and operated by two friends and bandmates, Ian and Heather. We want to share our love of music and create a place for musicians of all ages and abilities to have fun, grow as artists, and connect with other musicians in our community. Find out more.
the studio
Located in south Fargo, the studio has 4 practice spaces, including small ones for 1-3 people and large ones for the whole band. We’re open by reservation Monday - Saturday, 12pm - 10pm.
